Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These Terms of Use set out the rules for using Matcher, an anonymous chat and matching service provided on WhatsApp. By sending a message to Matcher and creating a profile, you agree to these terms. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
1. Service provider
Matcher is provided by Matcher.com.tr (Denizli Mah. 24 Sk. 4/3 Urla, İzmir, Türkiye). Contact: info@matcher.com.tr.
2. The service
Matcher matches users based on the topic they choose and relays their messages on WhatsApp without showing their phone numbers, names or photos. Each match lasts up to 24 hours. Only text, emoji and stickers are delivered. The service is free; standard data charges for using WhatsApp are your responsibility.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Matcher.
- Users aged 16–17 are only matched with users aged 16–17. If you are under 18, we recommend that you use the service with your parent's or guardian's knowledge.
- Your profile information, especially your birth year, must be accurate. Providing false information may lead to permanent restriction of access.
- You must also comply with WhatsApp's own terms of service.
4. Rules of conduct
When using Matcher, the following is prohibited:
- Harassment, insults, threats, hate speech or discrimination;
- Unwanted sexual content; any sexual content or proposition involving minors (reported to the authorities);
- Spam, advertising, fraud or redirecting people to other services;
- Sharing other people's personal information without permission, or impersonating someone;
- Any unlawful activity or incitement to violence;
- Attempting to disrupt the service, bypass its safeguards or use it with automated tools.
5. Anonymity and personal information
Matcher does not show your number, name or photo to the other person, and automatically blocks links, phone numbers, email addresses and usernames. However, you are responsible for any information you choose to share in a chat. We recommend that you do not share personal information with people you don't know and that you take care when it comes to things like meeting in person.
6. Responsibility for content
You alone are responsible for the messages you send. Matcher does not pre-screen the messages users send to each other and does not guarantee the behavior of users.
7. Reports, moderation and sanctions
- You can report someone who bothers you with the report command during a chat. When you report someone, the chat ends immediately and you won't be matched with that person again.
- Reports may be reviewed together with a copy of the last messages of the chat.
- Accounts reported by several different users within a short period are automatically restricted for a limited time. Matcher may temporarily or permanently restrict access without prior notice if these terms are breached.
8. Changes to and termination of the service
Matcher may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service (for example topics or features such as private rooms) at any time. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your profile at info@matcher.com.tr.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Matcher is not liable for damages arising from users' behavior towards each other, content shared by users, or outages of WhatsApp and other third-party services. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence or your rights under consumer protection law.
10. Intellectual property
All rights in the Matcher name, logo, website and software belong to the service provider. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.; Matcher is not affiliated with Meta or WhatsApp.
11. Privacy
Details on how your personal data is processed are set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page; continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İzmir have jurisdiction over disputes; your statutory rights as a consumer (including applying to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts) are reserved.
